With reference to my Despatch No. 34 of

the 5th February, and Your Lordship's telegram of the 29th March, approving the payment of a bonus in respect of 1918 to Dr. C. W. McKenny at the rate of 150 per mensem, I have the honour to request Your Lordship's authority to continue this payment during the current year, until such time as Dr. J. T. C. Johnson returns from leave.

The circumstances are precisely the same

as those obtaining in 1918, and Dr. McKenny has continuedto perform his many duties in a highly satisfactory manner.
